- Safe Manual Handling, Eight Principles of Safe Lifting, Theory, Practice
- Injury Prevention, Exercise, Diet, Rest, Sleep. Sensitive risk groups
A Practical and highly participative approach will be used throughout. The focus will be on actual situations with realistic solutions.
Students will be required to demonstrate lifting techniques and therefore must be physically capable of lifting in order to participate in the course.

Anyone engaged in Manual Handling tasks are required to receive training in assessments of loads and how to lift and handle loads effectively. This course will include both instruction and practical training.
We use tutors from all walks of life across many different sectors, allowing us to conduct training nationwide. Numbers & resources permitting, we can conduct manual handling training in house, within an organisation or alternatively from either of our centres.

On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a Daralinn Certificate of attendance. This is valid for three years.
